Start your day with an exciting journey along Oman’s stunning coastline as we leave Muscat and head toward the eastern wonders of the country. Our first stop is the mysterious Bimmah Sinkhole, a natural limestone crater filled with turquoise water. Located near the quiet town of Quriyat, it’s a spectacular spot for photography and a great start to your adventure.
Next, we continue to one of Oman’s most iconic destinations: Wadi Shab. This oasis-like canyon is known for its lush greenery, dramatic rock formations, and crystal-clear pools hidden deep within the valley. The experience begins with a short boat ride (included in the trip) that takes you across the river, followed by a scenic hike of about 45–60 minutes through the wadi. Along the trail, you’ll witness waterfalls, palm groves, and narrow paths carved by centuries of flowing water.
At the end of the hike, you’ll reach the main highlight – a series of stunning pools perfect for swimming. Adventurous travelers can even swim through a narrow crack in the rocks to discover a hidden cave with a waterfall inside – an unforgettable experience that blends natural wonder and pure thrill.
After soaking in the wadi’s beauty, we head to a local Omani restaurant where a traditional lunch will be served. Recharge and relax as you enjoy the local flavors and the peaceful rural setting.
On our way back to Muscat, we’ll make a final photo stop at Wadi Tiwi, a nearby valley known for its green farms, water channels, and dramatic views. While we don’t enter the wadi on this trip, the scenic stop offers a wonderful ending to your day of exploration.
This tour is ideal for those who love a mix of nature, light adventure, and swimming in hidden paradises. Whether you’re hiking through the gorge or floating in clear water surrounded by cliffs, Wadi Shab will leave you speechless.
